The procurement buyer position is to purchase goods and services, preparation and processing of contracts, leases, and procurement documents for a variety of equipment, materials, supplies, and services to support the needs of the company.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Place warehouse orders and ensure the timely replenishment of materials and equipment to support warehouse operations.
- Work with warehouse management to assist with maintaining optimal inventory values and quantities.
- Work closely with Operations (where necessary) to ensure that materials or services being ordered and delivered will fulfill all requirements.
- Manage internal customer expectations regarding timely execution of orders.
- Process Requisitions, Issue Request for Quotes, develop bid tabs, conduct negotiations and issue purchase orders.
- Participate in invoice reconciliation, RFQ management, system database review and regular inventory reporting.
- Create and monitor respective Supplier Continuous Improvement metrics focused on customer service, time delivery performance, claims, documentation issues, etc.
- Ensure operations has the most accurate and up to date pricing from respective suppliers for material and equipment.
- Use CRM/ERP System to support purchasing process and provide necessary business analytics to track and report purchasing pricing benefits and order fulfillment success.
- Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
- Participates in meetings and is routinely prepared to report progress towards respective strategic initiatives and corporate goals.
- Assesses financial risks of purchases and develops alternative suppliers
- Work with accounts payable to ensure that all prices, credits, and rebate programs are accurately reflected in the system.
- Work with procurement team members to ensure optimal material pricing and availability.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, and or three plus (3+) years equivalent experience preferred.
- Two plus (2+) years of Residential Services industry experience preferred.
